Management Team
Executive Management
Our management team consists of highly skilled people. Their backgrounds consist of specialised experience in business management, golfing industry and specialist mission critical computer systems engineering.

Technology Director - Philip Stander
Philip had a distinguished academic career and graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1989 with a MSc degree with distinction and specialised in the development of software models for kinetics of chemical reactions.

He started his career as a scientist with a leading South African Scientific Laboratory but excelled as Systems Engineer in the Information Technology field where he has gained valuable specialist experience over a period of over 15 years with leading local and international companies. Philip has been the lead design architect of several mission critical applications used by companies such as Telkom SA Ltd, Vodacom SA Ltd and MTN.

During 2002 Philip was a Co-Founder of GlobeTOM and acts as Managing Director since. Philip's main responsibilities include the formulating of business strategies, technology innovation and all technical visionary functions. With the support of a strong technical team he focuses on developing market-leading solutions setting new benchmarks in the telecommunication industry and other industries in which GlobeTOM specialises.

Marketing Director - Dave Usendorff

After attending the University of Port Elizabeth, where he played golf for the Eastern Province, Dave became the Club Professional at the Port Elizabeth Golf Club. He was the Pro there for many years before moving to Pretoria to take up the position as Golf Director of Centurion Country Club. It was during this time that he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the South African Professional Golfers Association (SAPGA). Dave also joined Matko Turf, where he ran the operations of the Turf Maintenance Division of the company. Dave was instrumental in the setting up of the PGA National Golf Club - a "virtual" golf club, which is owned by the PGA.

During 1997 and 1998, Dave won the Club Pro Series Order of Merit, and continued to finish in the top 10 over the next few years.

At the beginning of 2000, Dave joined 18-Global, a golf-internet company. He spent most of the year travelling to the UK, marketing the company and recruiting on course professional golfers to make use of their facilities. Throughout this time, Dave has been involved in doing clinics, MC functions and after dinner speeches.

During May, 2001, Dave joined Dale Hayes Golf Events to be more involved in Corporate Functions. He has appeared on Super Sport's- Pitch and Putter show a few times with brief discussions on the latest golf equipment, as well as a few golfing tips.
